Back in July, The Times approached me to recommend some hidden villages in the UK for an upcoming article on the best secret UK villages. I provided a few suggestions and also inquired about the locations the journalist was already considering, allowing me to propose some clients for potential commentary. The article by is now published in Sunday Times Home. 🙌🏻
🏡 The Times approached my Norfolk buying agent Jamie Jamieson directly, who has provided commentary for Worstead. Jamie said Worstead is a safe distance from the holiday-home Chelsea-tractor honeypots on the county’s north coast, but it’s perfectly placed for anyone seeking easy access to the very best that Norfolk has to offer. It has the impressive flint church, the rural setting, and the picturesque mix of houses telling the story of a place that has prospered quietly for hundreds of years. He also went onto say it’s a lovely village to live in with good road and rail connections to Norwich, and the Norfolk Broads and coast are within easy reach.
🏡 Charlotte Strang of Strang & Co talks about Blagdon just outside of Bristol. As a local buying agent, she said most buyers are looking for a countryside location within commuting distance of Bristol or Bath. Money goes a bit further here than in Clifton and Charlotte said you’ll find larger houses with off-street parking, gardens and views.
🏡 Whilst Surrey & SW London buying agent Richard Winter talks about Ockham in Surrey. He said there is a beautiful feeling of rural countryside and some great village properties in and around Ockham, with schools and great pubs nearby.
